Unlike standard winery visits, this experience takes place in an exclusive underground sanctuary that is never open to the public. Access is by private reservation only, meaning your group will have the entire space — and a dedicated sommelier — entirely to yourselves.

The wines you will taste are grown in one of the most extraordinary terroirs on earth: volcanic soil at the foot of Mount Vesuvius, where centuries of eruptions have created a mineral richness that cannot be replicated anywhere else.

Pool & Wine Escape is one of the few experiences in the Pompeii and Vesuvius area that combines relaxation with authentic wine tourism in a single day. Rather than a quick tasting stop, guests get exclusive access to the estate's pool set among the vineyards, with the volcano itself as a backdrop — a rare setting to slow down before and after the tasting. Kept to a maximum of 4 guests, the experience feels private and personal rather than crowded, with a wine tasting led by the estate's own team and paired with genuine, locally sourced dishes from the Vesuvio Menu. Departing from Lucca or surrounding, we’ll drive about 30 minutes through the rolling hills our first historic winery, followed by a guided tasting of their wines, many of which can only be produced in this region.

After the tasting, enjoy an hour in Montecarlo, a small medieval village with a long history of wine production. In the afternoon visit an authentic Tuscan farmhouse, where we’ll enjoy a light lunch on the farm, featuring the seasonal produce from the gardens and fresh olive oil directly from the estate’s grove.
